Things to Do on Canada Day long Weekend, The Camellia.

It's almost Canada Day, and everyone is looking forward to the long weekend. What are you planning to do? If the thought of venturing into the wilderness ( beating off blackflies & Mosquitoes) holds no appeal for you, why not go visit some of the places you've been meaning to go out to? Visit The Camellia and get inspired, shop, and browse for ideas.

Healthy Room fragrances that are good for you and your home.

Fresh Magnolias blossoms seen in Durham, North Carolina. So..oooo beautiful, and fragrant!

Order a faux floral arrangement for your Home, we custom design all kinds here at The Camellia, ( like this beauty above),  bring in your fabric swatches and photos of your room.

Look around your Home and see what you can revamp with Cottage Paint, sold here at the Camellia.

Here is a light oak kitchen cabinet door, painted with a glaze to turn it into a dark, expresso finish, with no sanding or stripping.

Don't you just love old houses....this beauty sits Lakeside in Duluth, MN.

Time to decorate your Garden  ...with our metal Sunflowers , hand-made by Elaina.

Choose from our whiteware ceramic pieces ...clean, white, and always in style.

Happy Canada Day at Camellia's, Thunder Bay, ON

Happy Canada Day everyone!! What are you doing today to celebrate?  My favourite activity is being in nature and being around Flowers. I hope you have something fun planned for today..

What do you love about living in Canada? I love looking out at the mountains from my window. There is so much land in Canada, and it's usually safe to walk. ( maybe the occasional Black Bear or so..!)

And yes, if you hear a gunshot, you don't usually have to drop and roll.

Lost of Lakes, it's so nice living next to the largest body of freshwater in the world, Lake Superior.

Of course, you never know what or who will move into your Yard. We think the beaver has left our pond in the back 40. However we have a runaway Chicken, we're not sure why he or she left home, but  our         Golden retriever and the chicken are not getting along.

Happy Canada Day! Call and check our hours today and stop by the Baggage Building at the Marina from 5-8 and say Hi!! Fireworks on tonight at the Marina.
