What a treat it is to be able to visit Holland in the Spring! A must is a visit to Keukenhoff Gardens, simply the best display of Spring flowers I have ever seen. Feels like you are walking in an enchanted forest, with the smell of Spring flowers all around you. Plan to spend the whole day here , and make sure you go with friends who are nuts about gardening.

Spring Lily of the Valley
This tempting array of chocolates at one of the stands in the Gare du Nord in Paris.....if I can't eat it, I can at least take photos of it! Notice the beautiful wrapping with Lily of the Valley.
Oh so exciting to see the new Spring arrivals, Lily of the Valley is a sure sign of spring the world over. In Holland and Paris, they sell bundles of it on every street corner, complete with roots and all. And of course, there's the strong perfumed smell from these tiny flowers....
Lily of the Valley are also perfect in Bridal Bouquets.
